Yering District Archers Have Come N Try Sessions on Saturdays Morning’s 2 to 3 times a month from 10:00am to 11:00am run by our dedicated and qualified volunteer coaches. Cost is $15 per person, including the use of our equipment and facilities. It's an easy way to have some affordable family fun!
Please arrive by 9:45am for allocation of equipment.
Rules and Conditions
Please show your purchase receipt at time of arrival, a wrist band will be given.
When purchasing multiple tickets, every person who is shooting must have a ticket with their personal details.
Closed toe shoes must be worn, no open toe shoes allowed.
Ensure your clothing is not too baggy as this may impede the bow string.
We do not accept cash payments.
The kitchen is open with snags and drinks avilable to purchases at the end of the session.
Persons who require a carer. We require the carer to fill in their full name and contact number must be included in your ticket purchase on the next page.
Persons under the age of 18 require a parent/guardian/carer
If you do not require a carer/parent, N/A can be entered into this field to allow the ticket to proceed.
Cancellation of your session must be done within 24 hours before the booked session. A refund may be given but will incur a small admin fee.
If you are using our rest facilities, we kindly ask to keep this clean and disinfect surfaces when finished.
People who turn up without a prior booking will not be accepted.
Anyone failing to abide by the rules and conditions may be asked to leave the club grounds.
A briefing will be given by the coaches prior to commencing the Come n Try Session
The Classes will run in most weather conditions, please ensure you are wearing the appropriate clothing to suit.

GUIDELINES
12) The only Target Rounds to be shot at QREs for each gender, equipment and age division are listed in Appendix 1.
Target Round – The 72 arrow rounds are the primary rounds that will be shot at all target QREs, although 144 arrow rounds may also be shot as an additional option.
13) In line with Archery Australia Shooting Rules the host shall check the membership card of each entrant at registration to ensure they are current financial affiliates.
14) The QRE Official or Judge officiating at the QRE MUST carry out Equipment Inspection prior to the start of shooting.
Conditions/Rules
11) Target QREs must be shot outdoors during daylight hours.
15) Scores may be considered for a “Record Claim” but only if a Judge (Candidate Judge) was officiating and the QRE was conducted in line with “Record Requirements”, in that there must have been competitors from more than on club shooting and completing the QRE.
19) There must be a minimum of 20 minutes and a maximum of 45 minutes practice provided.
20) All shooting (scoring) MUST commence at the same time and as soon as possible after practice has been completed.
21) All shooting must be timed and timing must be in line with World Archery rules.
22) World Archery rules must be followed at all times.
23) Due to possible divisions and entry numbers if there is only 1 archer shooting on a target, a Judge/QRE Official or an archer from a nearby target MUST supervise scoring.
24) There are two scoring methods permitted for QREs -
Double paper scoring
Electronic scoring (with a single paper scorecard) using Archers Diary's "Iscored.today".

YDA has booked the Crown Hotel Lilydale for dinner at 6 pm for all to attend, including famliy or firends who have come to see you shoot.
