The Sherring Cup is a series of events, where Sherbooke Archers and Yering District Archers come togeather for a bit of friendly compitition.
The aim of the events is to introduce members from the two clubs to each other, and to try out other forms of archery that not all archers may have had the opportunity to try. This includes Target, Clout, Field and Indoor.
First up will be Indoor. Come along and have some fun and maybe help your club shoot the highest club score.
We will be shooting a WA Indoor round.
60 arrows at a 40cm target face from a distance of 18m with a short break half way through.
This year we will be offering any archers who have been involved in the sport for less than 6 months the option to shoot at a 60cm target from 18m.
If this sounds like you, please email tournament@yda.tidymail.co requesting a 60cm target after you have registered.
The BBQ will not be running this event so all competitors are encouraged to bring a plate/snack to share.
At the conclusion of the event, the winning club will determined as the club with the highest average score across all of their archers
For those interested, we may also run a quick handicapped matchplay afterwards.
